will be away…
April 22 – April 30th
Along with other members of a medical team, they will be
providing urgent medical services to the Haitian population.
We are currently looking for
donations of each of the following…
“Kids shoes, ropes, tarps,
tents and light sleeping bags”
Donations may be dropped off
at Dr. Singh & Dr. Monte’s office, Stayner Medical Centre or Brethran in
Christ Churches in either Stayner or Collingwood.
H1N1 (Swine) Flu Alert
Anyone who develops flu like symptoms-High fever, muscle aches, sometimes diarrhea and vomiting could have H1N1-Swine Flu.
IF YOU ARE IN A RISK GROUP-
Pregnant Women (up to 1 month after delivery),
Children under 5 (especially under 2!)
Asthmatics, Diabetics, those with Impaired Immune Systems or Chronic Medical Problems
You need to present for Medical assessment if you develop symptoms.

Flu Shots
This year due to the Swine Flu Pandemic there will be two Flu shots, one for Seasonal Flu, one for Swine Flu
Seasonal Flu Shots will be available to those 65 and over.
1. Seasonal Flu shot clinics will start in the last week of October. Call the office for an appointment.
Swine Flu shots will
be available to all those aged 6 months to 65 years. Those in high risk
groups will receive vaccination first.
1. Swine Flu shot clinics will start as soon as the vaccine is available at the end of November
