Gardasil vaccine is in. Check it out at
www.gardasil.com. This is a vaccine for HPV (which is the sole cause of cervical cancer) for girls and young women age 9-26.
Info re HPV at
www.hpvinfo.ca. Your daughter will receive Gardasil vaccine, provided by the Ontario government, in Grade 8. If she is older she will not receive the vaccine at school.
Enrolled patients may access the after hours clinics as needed. Call 1-866-553-7205 to talk to the nurse who will give you the number of the doctor on call if needed.
